HOW DOES IT WORK?

After the application through the school, we will schedule an appointment with you to register your child. Your child can express their preferences for the home mentor they would like. You can also communicate what you consider important.

After the registration, we will start searching for a suitable mentor. It might take some time, and you may need to wait. Once we have found a suitable home mentor, we will get in touch to schedule an introductory meeting.

The introduction with the home mentor takes place at your home. If everyone agrees, the mentorship can begin.

What are homementors?

Homementors are volunteers; men and women of various ages, backgrounds, and professions. They understand that it is not always easy to find your way. School’s cool Amsterdam recruits and selects the homementors and takes care of the VOG (Certificate of Conduct). Additionally, we ensure that the homementors are supported through meetings, training, and workshops.
